Hi peeps! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was interesting. It can be tough though when you have a lot of things on your hand. I have decided to use part of my weekend to learning a new skill. It’s been interesting, though not very easy combining it with work but still a girl has to hustle *wink*. Okay, Make I no bore you with my plenty story, let’s get down to business.

Today I'm starting a series tagged 'Why We Love Our Celeb!'. Here I want to talk about stars and celebrities, upcoming and already made  that have, through hard work and consistency, made it in life. People that can be seen as role models and source of inspiration.

Our celebrity for today on ‘Why We Love Our Celeb!’ is no other person than our very own, slayer, fashionista, trend setter, strong personality, beautiful, adoring and successful Toke Makinwa! One thing that strikes me about Toke is her strong will. I get inspired every time I watch this woman speaks. She is someone that has created a niche and a name for herself. I love to see women like this who has proven that you can be what you want if you stay true to your dream. I got to know more about her when I started watching her vlog. Sometimes you need to get close enough to know someone  instead of judging from afar. Her passion for what she does inspires me a lot.  Ladies, you’ve got to follow her, she’s fun.
 
For those not too familiar with that name and wondering  ...’who is she?’... abeg take a chill pill *tongue out*…let me quickly run a brief about this self-made woman. Toke is an Award Winning  Radio/Multimedia Personality, television host, and vlogger. She has had many mega deals with big companies such as Nestle, and currently she is the brand ambassador and face of Mecran Cosmetics. She has a YouTube vlog called Toke Moment. If you are a lady and you’re not subscribed to this vlog,you’re on a long thing!!!…shine your eye! (in toke’s voice) lol!

I choose to celebrate her today because her life is a form of inspiration to young people out there especially ladies. You need to hold on to your dream. Keep pushing, never get tired. Toke Makinwa is a good example of a strong and successful woman. She is a fighter. She has had own share of life, but she keeps pushing on, never giving up.  She is an achiever.
