It might seems your efforts are not yielding results. It's only for a short while if you keep on. Your success is closer than you can imagine 😉. Abeg no be only you waka come 😂, we join body 😁.

To business of the day. I have come to share some things that are beneficial to our health and skin. Actually, I'll like to focus on the health aspect first because health is wealth. It is when you feel good inside that you concern yourself with other things. Without much talk, we'll start with hormonal Imbalance.

Hormonal balance is very vital to healthy living and can be distorted by a lot of causes. Some are natural e.g puberty, menopause, etc. Also, it can be caused by toxins or unbalanced lifestyle. Some contraceptive and family planning methods are also culprits. In case of hormonal Imbalance caused by contraceptive or family planning methods adopted,  delay in conception for women who use such can be experienced. In fact, this is one of the reasons some people in underdeveloped countries that do not have full knowledge about family planning are usually scared of adopting it. The common believe is that it has serious negative effects which include risk of not being able to conceive after use. In actual fact, it distorts hormonal balance which may in turn cause delay in conception but restores back to normal after some times which might range between 3 months to a year in individuals. It's good to know that quick restoration of the hormones can be aided by adopting these few home remedies

1. Eat lots of grains like wheat, rice, oatmeal, cornmeal, barley etc
2. Drink lots of water during the day
3. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits
4 Drink spearmint tea. You can make one for your self by getting the leave or buy branded ones from grocery store. (See picture of leaf below)

5. Then another one is uziza leaf. This leaf is commonly use by the Igbos. It is mostly used in cooking some of their soups e.g ogbono. Incorporate it in your soup and ensure you eat the leaf at least once a week

The next home remedy is for cold; cough , catarrh and running nose. In this situation you need to have the following handy; Lime, cinnamon, honey, garlic, and ginger. Here are few quick steps you can take to get relieved from cold

1. Extract lime juice or cinnamon.
2. Add honey to the lime juice or cinnamon in equal quantity and thoroughly mix together. Take 4-6 tablespoons 3 times daily for adults and 2 tablespoons, 3 times daily for children.
3. Alternatively, you can chew raw ginger at intervals depending on the severity of the cough
4. You can also blend some cloves of garlic, mix with honey and lick at intervals.
5. Another option is to measure a cup of water and pour in a cooking pot add two to three cloves of garlic, put on fire and allow to boil then add a teaspoon of oregano. Put down from fire, allow to cool to room temperature, add some honey and drink.

Lastly, for this post, let's discuss home remedy for ulcer. Ulcer is not pleasant for anyone. Here are some few tips on what you can do at home to help yourself or any of your love ones suffering from it.

1. Get a purple cabbage ( white/green will do if you can't get the purple), blend with coconut water and drink first thing in the morning
2.Chewing of cabbage is also very helpful. Chew some amount of cabbage every morning and evening.

So, I'll stop here for now. I hope this few remedies I shared will help one way or the other. If you have other remedies you'll love to share kindly do in the comment section. I'd love to learn and hear from you.
